Hi Sarah,

Thanks for writing. I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

First, I want you to know...God loves you! He wants to bless you and see good things in your life. You're not destined for hell just because of this situation, if you're a Christian, which means that you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior.

God will also forgive if you ask Him. He'll even forget the sin. That's how good God is.

All that being said, God is not going to bless something that you're not supposed to be doing, that's out of his will. If the sin keeps coming up and you've made no change in your life to follow His will, then it's kind of hard for him to forget that sin. Your husband is just that, your husband. Not this other man, just because you both may have some things in common.

You left your kids, so it sounds like their father was ready to take care of them. Right now, he nor the kids are able to trust that you will stick around, based on your past record. As Christians, we're supposed to forgive, but the Bible doesn't say that we have to trust other people.

The good news is... that can change, you can change! With God's help, you can do the right thing and earn back the trust of your husband and kids. But you have to decide and take action to do that; no one else can do it for you.

God cares for you and if you let Him, and follow Him, He can turn your situation around completely.

I hope this helps and I will be praying for you and all involved.

My marriage was broken up 6 yrs ago and I tried to resolve it even thou I was involved with another men & he supported me and my two babys while I was on my own. I went back to bring my husband as answere to people prayers . Then 6months later we separated this time I left and went back to the other men and left my babies who are 7 & 10 yrs old now with my mum. My husband then took them with him and wont return my babies back. Will God ever forgive me or will he even hear my cries because I broke my marriage . Will he bless me and my new partner who has grown up kids and grand children but whose wife has past away . Am I destined for hell even thou I seek forgiveness, will he forgive me for hurting my childrens .

Thanks GAlekgonwe Pifelo. I hope that this blog is providing some help.

That's a good question on differentiating between the two. To help, I pulled some definitions of each from dictionary.com. The way I see it is that the anxiety one feels causes stress.

Anxiety
1. distress or uneasiness of mind caused by fear of danger or misfortune.
2. a state of apprehension and psychic tension occurring in some forms of mental disorder.
—Synonyms 1. fear, foreboding; worry, disquiet.

Stress
1. A mentally or emotionally disruptive or upsetting condition occurring in response to adverse external influences and capable of affecting physical health, usually characterized by increased heart rate, a rise in blood pressure, muscular tension, irritability, and depression.
2. A stimulus or circumstance causing such a condition.
3. A state of extreme difficulty, pressure, or strain.

I hope that helps:)
