MarriageVictory has now turned 200!

No, not years, but 200+ RSS subscribers.

We consistently hit the 200 mark a few weeks ago. And to show off a little, we added the plugin that shows our reader count in our “Subscribe” box.

Some additional numbers show that our Marriage eCourse subscriber list has topped the 400 mark.

Time to get back to it. For the past few months I’ve been working on moving my Christian marriage blog from being hosted on Blogger to hosting it myself utilizing Wordpress. The reason for this was to provide more customization, flexibility, and a platform to build for the future.

It wasn’t easy, though the experience taught me a lot about web site design. Trying to find a template that I liked was like searching for the proverbial “needle in a haystack”. I did eventually find one that looked pretty good, but it wasn’t quite what I wanted. So I went ta codin’ and a customizin’. Fun stuff, but oh the time it eats up.

Well, it’s now official. My Christian marriage web site is up and running. Since getting laid off from my job at the very end of February, this is the direction that I felt God was leading me in. What the devil meant for evil, God turned into good.

Well, here we go.

Welcome to my Christian marriage blog. I’ve been mulling it over for a little while and figured it’s time to step up to the microphone. It was either this or begin my long anticipated rappin’ career. My wife and kids nixed the latter, so here I am:)
